Band is an elective for instrumental students. Standard band literature and orchestra transcriptions and multicultural music are rehearsed and performed. Theory, harmony, form and music history are included and approached through the music. Students are required to attend concerts and public performances as part of their grade. Can be taken 4 times for credit.
